BOOKING PROCEDURES AND CANCELLATION POLICY
FOR TaPS
Booking and Registration Procedures
- For teachers attending with students (including teachers attending formal training and/or in the role of accompanying adults):
- ISTA only accepts Booking Forms and Registration Forms completed in full.
- The booking to secure student places is made using the online TaPS Booking Form. Registration is required by the Final Confirmation Deadline (FCD) using the online TaPS Registration Form.
- Once ISTA has received your Booking Form your school will be issued with an invoice for £500.00. This is for student places only. It is a flat rate deposit and will be deducted from your final balance invoice upon registration.
- The invoice must be paid within 28 days of issue. If payment is not received within this time period we cannot guarantee that places will be held.
- ISTA requires the online Registration Form to be submitted on or before the FCD. A late registration fee of £150.00 will be charged to all schools submitting the registration form after the FCD.
- ISTA will issue schools with the final balance invoice once registration forms have been received. This must be paid within 28 working days of issue.
- If at any time you realize you need fewer or more places than indicated on your Booking Form please let Jo know by emailing her on jow@ista.co.uk. This has a huge impact on our event planning. Thank you.
- For teachers only:
- Teachers do not need to complete a Booking Form, only the online Registration Form.
- ISTA can only accept Registration Forms completed in full.
- ISTA requires the online Registration Form to be submitted on or before the Final Confirmation Deadline (FCD).
- ISTA will issue schools with an invoice once registration forms have been received. This must be paid within 28 working days of issue.
No Refund Policy
The deposit for school groups is non refundable and non transferrable.
Cancellation Policy
- ISTA reserves the right to cancel an event due to insufficient enrollment; and/or other factors. In this case registration fees only will be refunded in full.
- For School Groups:
- Schools who cancel 10 weeks or less prior to a TaPS will be charged a cancellation fee of £500.00 (in addition to the deposit withheld).
- Cancellations for individual students/teachers registrations received on or after the FCD (and ‘no shows’) will be charged the full registration fee.
- For Teachers only:
- Cancellations received before the FCD will receive full refund of the registration fee in the form of a credit note.
- Cancellations for registrations received on or after the FCD (and ‘no shows’) will be charged the full registration fee.
It is the school's responsibility to ensure that
- School administrations and parents (if appropriate) are fully informed of ISTA’s Booking Procedures and Cancellation Policies prior to committing to the event.
- Cancellations are communicated directly to ISTA and NOT to the host school/organization.
