WHO ARE GLOBAL PATRONS?

ISTA’s Global Patrons (GP’s) are schools, organization, families or individuals who are able to support us over and above, or independently of, membership fees. Through patronage amounting to £450.00 per annum, GP’s enable ISTA to carry out work over and above it’s core activities.

WHY DO MEMBER SCHOOLS CHOOSE TO BECOME GLOBAL PATRONS?

The reasons are primarily two fold:

·       Often schools, and in particular Theatre Departments, choose to support ISTA as a registered charity (ie. not for profit organization) because of the high quality of opportunities we afford to young people internationally. By becoming a GP your school would be making a positive contribution to the development of a highly reputable international arts organization.

·       For those schools who attend 2-3 events a year, Global Patronage can make a significant impact on the amount of registration fees students pay.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF BECOMING A GLOBAL PATRON?

We will honour your patronage by:

Listing your school, organization, family/individual name in a prominent place:

·       In our quarterly journal ‘Scene’ that is distributed to 160 schools worldwide and a further 40 organisations/individuals linked with the organization; as well as to our pool of 120 freelance artists working internationally.

·       On our website.

·       In all our event programmes. In 2010-2011 we plan to produce 34 events in over 20 countries reaching in excess of 2000 students and 600 teachers.

Offering your students:

·       A 15% discount on registration fees for Festivals and TaPS.

Offering you:

·       An ‘early bird’ booking for all Festivals and TaPS, by enabling your school to book at the events of your choice 2 weeks prior to event bookings opening up to the wider membership.

Offering your school:

·       Global promotion by providing a link to your school’s website where we list you as an ISTA Global Patron.

As we continue to grow in size and reputation it is important for us to work with ‘key’ partner schools. Global Patron’s are such schools. We look forward to you joining us.
