Travel information is required as part of the registration process. Please have travel details confirmed by the time the registration window opens.
Non local participants should plan to arrive in Amsterdam on the afternoon/early evening of Wednesday, 19th April 2023
Local participants should arrive at the host school for registration by 8:30am on Thursday 20th April 2023.
All participants should not plan to leave the school until after 5:30pm on Saturday 22nd April 2023.
Please arrange travel accordingly.

Please note
All registration fees and surcharges will be invoiced once the registration window has closed.
A non refundable, non-transferable deposit will be sent with the booking confirmation; this amount will be deducted from your final invoice.
The deposit will be as follows:
For bookings of 1 – 10 learners GBP £500.
For bookings of 11 – 15 learners GBP £750.
For bookings of 16 or more learners GBP £1,000.

Travel and visas
All participants will fly into Amsterdam Schiphol Airport (AMS).
Participants arriving by train should arrive at Amsterdam Centraal Station
Participants are responsible for booking their own travel and securing visas for the event.

Accommodation
All non local participants at this festival will stay in a hotel near the host school.

* The hotel confirmed for this event is no longer available as they are now renting the exclusively to the city of Amsterdam as part of humanitarian aid. The host school is working hard to secure another suitable venue. Please contact the event coordinator for further information.
Please Note:
- Festival hosts will arrange a block booking reservation at an appropriate hotel.
- Participating organisations are responsible for booking and paying for their group’s accommodation at the recommended hotel.
- Airport/Station pick up/drop off and daily local transportation to the festival venue will not be provided for organisations choosing to book at a hotel other than the one recommended by the host.
- ISTA and the host organisation will not take responsibility for any arrangements made between the organisation and the hotel.
Educator /chaperones
Single rooms should be booked for 3 nights (Wednesday 19th – Friday 21st April.) Participants wishing to depart Sunday morning 23rd April should book 4 nights. (19th – 22nd April)
Student Learners
Shared rooms should be booked for 3 nights (Wednesday 19th – Friday 21st April.) Participants wishing to depart Sunday morning 23rd April should book 4 nights. (19th – 22nd April)
Please note:
The festival ends at 5:30 pm on Saturday 22nd April 2023. Plan accommodation and travel accordingly.
Meals
For non local participants
Please ensure you book breakfast at the hotel.
For all participants
Lunch will be provided Thursday, Friday and Saturday at the host school/venue.
Evening meals will be provided Thursday and Friday at the host school/venue.
If a social meal is to be part of the festival schedule for adult chaperones and ISTA artists this is costed at approximately GBP £30 per person
