ISTA presents...

Bali IB workshop - DP Theatre Category 1

October 2 - October 4, 2020

Artistic information

DP Theatre – Category 1

Workshop goals
This workshop is recommended for teachers of Theatre from schools which have taken the decision to apply to offer the Diploma programme or new or recently appointed Theatre teachers from IB World Schools.
The overall purpose of workshops in this category is to provide professional development and assistance for schools that have decided to apply for IB authorisation. They are equally relevant for educators who are new to a school with an existing IB programme and those interested in joining an IB school.

Master classes
Typically participants at an IB workshop take part in one master class. However, as we want to take the opportunity while being in Bali of working with multiple master class leaders, giving your more traditions to experience – we will be offering two master classes at this IB workshop.
Master classes at this workshop will focus on Kecak and Wayang Kulit.

See above – typically IB teachers would attend one theatre performance – however as Bali has such a rich performance tradition we will be offering two theatre performances at this event. All participants will attend performances on Kecak and Wayang Kulit.
