Title
Bali TaPS

TaPS goals
The TaPS experience engages young people with the philosophy of the DP Theatre course, its core components and the assessment tasks.
TaPS acts as a launchpad for students’ explorations of theatre within the context of the course; to further pursue once back in their own schools.
Working with DP Theatre students from different schools broadens perspectives, forges friendships and enhances all learning.

All participants will take part in 5 master classes (MCs) focusing on a specific aspect of theatre. Master classes at this TaPS will include: Topeng, Wayang Kulit, Kecak, Gamelan and Balinese dance.

Theatre
All participants will attend 3 professional theatre performances. The productions on offer at this TaPS will focus on Kecak; Legong, Kebyar Duduk and Topeng, and Barong; and a Balinese puppet show.
