Arrivals and departures for visiting schools
All visiting schools arriving into Beijing Capital Airport or Beijing Nan (South) train station will be met by a representative from the host school and transported to the venue by bus.

The host school will arrange transport to the airport or train station for your departure.

Arrivals and departures for ISTA artists
ISTA artists will be met at the airport by a school representative and taken to the hotel by bus.

Daily transport for visiting teachers, students and ISTA artists
Hotel based visiting schools and ISTA artists will travel to the school by WAB bus.

Transport for the cultural excursion
The cultural excursion will take place at WAB.

Social meal for visiting teachers/chaperones and ISTA artists
The social meal will take place at Feast (East Hotel). Visiting teachers will need 300 RMB in cash (usually in local currency) to pay to the host/Rep on arrival.

A presentation on the traits and culture of the 12 zodiac signs and a theatrical performance of The story of the 12 Zodiacs performed at WAB.

We advise that you have your group confirmed and all information collected by 20th September 2019.
Travel information is required as part of the registration process. Please have travel details confirmed by the time the registration window opens.
You should arrive into Beijing the evening before the festival begins on Thursday 21st November 2019.
You should not plan to leave the festival venue until after 5:00pm on Sunday 24th November 2019.
Please arrange travel accordingly.
Local schools will attend from Friday morning onwards.

For artists
You need to arrive in time for an evening meal on Wednesday 20th November 2019.
You should not plan to leave the festival venue until after 5:30pm on Sunday 24th November 2019.
The Rep should arrive by evening on Tuesday 19th November 2019.
Please arrange travel accordingly.
Travel information is due by 13th September 2019.

Registration fees
Students from member schools – GBP £216.
Students from host school – GBP £165 for the first 25, thereafter GBP £216.
This includes the cost of an ISTA t-shirt.

Surcharges
Airport transfers – GBP £10.
Excursion – GBP £10.

Accommodation costs
GBP £33 per student per night based on 2 or 3 students sharing; GBP £99 for three nights.

Total cost per student
Local member schools – GBP £226.
Non-local member schools – GBP £236 plus accommodation.
Host school – GBP £175 for the first 25, thereafter GBP £226.

Teachers/chaperones

Member schools – GBP £50.
Non-member schools – GBP £102.

GBP £64 per teacher per night based on single room accommodation; GBP £192 for three nights.

Non-local non-member schools – GBP £134 plus accommodation.
Host school – GBP £72.

Please note:
1. A GBP £500 non refundable, non transferable deposit will be invoiced upon booking.
2. A GBP £500 cancellation fee will be invoiced to any school cancelling within 12 weeks from the start of the festival, in addition to the deposit withheld.
3. A GBP £150 late registration fee per school booking will be invoiced to schools if the registrations are received after the registration window has closed.
4. All invoices are payable within 28 days of receipt. If not, places cannot be guaranteed at the festival.

The journey from the hotel to the school is approximately 30 minutes by school bus.

For schools

For teachers/chaperones
Visiting teachers/chaperones will be booked into the hotel for the nights of the 21st, 22nd and 23rd November 2019.

For students
Students will stay in shared rooms at the designated hotel.
Shared rooms will be be booked for 3 nights from 21st November 2019.
Where possible students will be placed in rooms with peers from the same school.
Schools will be invoiced at the time of registration for all accommodation costs.

For local participants
No accommodation will be booked for local schools.
You are responsible for organising your own daily travel.
Breakfasts will not be provided.

For artists
Single rooms will be booked for you for 4 nights from 20th November 2019.
An additional night will be booked for the Rep who will arrive on the 19th November 2019.
You will be responsible for any miscellaneous costs during your stay.
