Travel information is required for non local participants as part of the registration process. Please have travel details confirmed by the time the registration window opens.

Local participants should arrive at the host school by 8:30am on Friday, 5th May 2023

Participants should not plan to leave the school until after 5.30pm on Sunday 7th May 2023

Please note

All registration fees and surcharges will be invoiced once the registration window has closed.

A non refundable, non-transferable deposit will be sent with the booking confirmation; this amount will be deducted from your final invoice.

The deposit will be as follows:
For bookings of 1 – 10 learners GBP £500.
For bookings of 11 – 15 learners GBP £750.
For bookings of 16 or more learners GBP £1,000.

Travel and visas

Participants arriving by air will fly into Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport (BEG)

Participants arriving by train should arrive at Belgrade Central Railway Station

Non local participants should arrive in Belgrade in the afternoon/early evening of Thursday 4th May 2023.

Participants should not plan to leave the host school until after 5:30pm on Sunday, 7th May 2023.

Non local participants may want to consider departing Belgrade Monday, 8th May 2023.

Please note:

Participants are responsible for booking their own travel and securing visas for the event

Please Note:

  • Festival hosts will arrange a block booking reservation at an appropriate hotel.
  • Participating organisations are responsible for booking and paying for their group’s accommodation at the recommended hotel.
  • Airport/Station pick up/drop off and daily local transportation to the festival venue will not be provided for organisations choosing to book at a hotel other than the one recommended by the host.
  • ISTA and the host organisation will not take responsibility for any arrangements made between the organisation and the hotel.

For educator chaperones
Single rooms should be booked for 3 nights: from Thursday 4th May – Saturday, 6th May 2023
Single room: EUR €95 per night including breakfast and VAT
Double room: EUR €105  per night including breakfast and VAT
City tax of RSD 160 per person per night

For student learners
Shared rooms should be booked for 3 nights: from Thursday, 4th May – Saturday, 6th May 2023.
Double/twin room: EUR €105  per night including breakfast and VAT
City tax of RSD 160 per person per night

Please note

As mentioned in the travel and visa section above, non local participants may want to consider booking an extra night Sunday, 7th May 2023 to allow for departure from Belgrade Monday, 8th May.

Meals

For hotel stay participants
Please ensure you book breakfast at the hotel as part of your room rate

For all participants
Lunch will be provided Friday, Saturday and Sunday by the host school/venue.

Evening meals will be Friday and Saturday by the host school/venue.

If a social meal is to be part of the festival schedule for adult chaperones and ISTA artists this is costed at approximately GBP £30 per person and will be paid directly to the host.
