Please note:
We advise that you have your group confirmed and all information collected by 29th August 2019.
Travel information is required as part of the registration process. Please have travel details confirmed by the time the registration window opens.
You should arrive in time to be at the festival venue for a 4:00pm start on 10th October 2019.
You should not plan to leave the festival venue until after 12:30pm on 13th October 2019.
Please arrange travel accordingly.

For artists
You need to arrive in time for an evening meal on Wednesday 9th October 2019.
You should not plan to leave the festival venue until after 1:00pm on Sunday 13th October 2019.
The Rep should arrive by evening on Tuesday 8th October 2019.
Please arrange travel accordingly.
Travel information is due by 1st August 2019.

Registration fees
Students from member schools – GBP £216.
Students from host school – GBP £216.
This includes the cost of an ISTA t-shirt.

Surcharges
Airport transfers – GBP £10.
Excursion – GBP £10.

Total cost per student
Local member schools – GBP £226.
Non-local member schools – GBP £236.
Host school – GBP £226.

Teachers/chaperones

Registration fees
Member schools – GBP £50.
Non-member schools – GBP £102.

ISTA t-shirt (optional) – GBP £12.

Excursion – GBP £10.

Total cost per teacher/chaperone
Local member schools – GBP £72.
Non-local member schools – GBP £82.
Local non-member schools – GBP £124.
Non-local non-member schools – GBP £134.
Host school – GBP £72.

Please note:

A GBP £500 non refundable, non transferable deposit will be invoiced upon booking.
A GBP £500 cancellation fee will be invoiced to any school cancelling within 12 weeks from the start of the festival, in addition to the deposit withheld.
A GBP £150 late registration fee per school booking will be invoiced to schools if the registrations are received after the registration window has closed.
All invoices are payable within 28 days of receipt. If not, places cannot be guaranteed at the festival.

 


Travel & Visas

All participants will fly into Bucharest Otopeni Airport.

The journey from the airport to the school will be a 40 minute drive.

All participants will be met by a schools representative and transported by buses to the school.

For schools
You are responsible for booking your own travel and securing visas for the festival.

For artists
You are responsible for booking your own flights and will work with your EC to provide all information in a timely manner.
Artist teams are launched 12 weeks prior to the festival and all flights must be booked 10 weeks prior to the festival.
You are also responsible for ensuring you have the correct visa for entry into Romania.

All teachers/chaperones and ISTA artists will stay at the following hotel

For schools

For teachers/chaperones

Single rooms have been booked for 3 nights from 10th October 2019.
The cost of the hotel is 90 Euros per night, including breakfast.
The journey to school is a 30 minute mini bus journey.
You will be responsible for paying for rooms on arrival. We can make provision for you to pay hotel bills ahead of time.

For students

Students will stay with families from the host school community; there is no additional cost for this.

For those schools who have been informed and allocated a hotel stay, rooms have been booked for students and their chaperones. Hotel information will be sent to the schools involved directly.
Accommodation for students will be provided for 3 nights from 10th October 2019.

For artists

Single rooms have been booked for you for 4 nights from 9th October 2019.
An additional night will be booked for the Rep who will arrive on the 8th October 2019.
You will be responsible for any miscellaneous costs during your stay.


Meals

For schools
Breakfast will be provided at the hotel or with host families.
Lunches will be provided daily (Sunday lunch not included).
Evening meals are provided either at the host school or with host families.
One evening meal for teachers/chaperones will be the social meal. This is costed at approximately GBP £30 per person.

For artists
All meals are provided by the host school.
