We advise that you have your group confirmed and all information collected by 6th December 2019.
Travel information is required as part of the registration process. Please have travel details confirmed by the time the registration window opens.
You should arrive into Chennai by evening on Thursday 6th February 2020.
You should not plan to leave the festival venue until after 5:00pm on Sunday 9th February 2020.
Please arrange travel accordingly.
For artists
You need to arrive in time for an evening meal on Wednesday 5th February 2020.
You should not plan to leave the festival venue until after 5:30pm on Sunday 9th February 2020.
The Rep should arrive by evening on Tuesday 4th February 2020.
Please arrange travel accordingly.
Travel information is due by 29th November 2019.

Students
Registration fees
Students from member schools – GBP £216.
Students from host school – GBP £165 for the first 25, thereafter GBP £216.
This includes the cost of an ISTA t-shirt.
Surcharges
Airport transfers – GBP £10.
Excursion – GBP £10.
Total cost per student
Local member schools – GBP £226.
Non-local member schools – GBP £236.
Host school – GBP £175 for the first 25, thereafter GBP £226.

Please note:
1. A GBP £500 non refundable, non transferable deposit will be invoiced upon booking.
2. A GBP £500 cancellation fee will be invoiced to any school cancelling within 12 weeks from the start of the festival, in addition to the deposit withheld.
3. A GBP £150 late registration fee per school booking will be invoiced to schools if the registrations are received after the registration window has closed.
4. All invoices are payable within 28 days of receipt. If not, places cannot be guaranteed at the festival.
Travel & Visas
All participants will fly into Chennai International Airport.
The journey from the airport to the school takes approximately 30 – 60 minutes.
For schools
You are responsible for booking your own travel and securing visas for the festival.
A visa is required for entering India. If you require a visa invitation letter please contact your EC.
All schools will be met by a representative from the host school and taken to the school by bus.
For artists
You are responsible for booking your own flights and will work with your EC to provide all information in a timely manner.
Artist teams are launched 12 weeks prior to the festival and all flights must be booked 10 weeks prior to the festival.
You are also responsible for ensuring you have the correct visa.
All artists will be met by a representative from the host school and taken to the hotel by car or bus.

The social meal will take place at the Holiday Inn in the form of a buffet. It will be a maximum of GBP £30 which visiting teachers must bring in local currency to give to the Rep or host.

The hotel has free WiFi.
The room rate is GBP £65 (including taxes) per person per night for a single occupancy room, including breakfast.
The journey from the hotel to the school is approximately 10 minutes on foot.
Teachers/chaperones and ISTA artists will either walk to school daily or travel by school bus.
For schools
For teachers/chaperones
Single rooms will be booked for the nights of the 6th, 7th and 8th February 2020.
Teachers/chaperones will be responsible for paying for rooms on arrival. We can make provision for schools to pay hotel bills ahead of time.
For students
Students will stay with families from the host school community; there is no additional cost for this.
Housing for students will be provided for 3 nights from 6th February 2019.
For artists
Single rooms will be booked for you for 4 nights from 5th February 2020.
An additional night will be booked for the Rep who will arrive on the evening of 4th February 2020.
You will be responsible for any miscellaneous costs during your stay.
