The festival starts at 9:00am on Friday 22nd January 2021. Please see notes below regarding arrival time at Prem.
The festival finishes at 9:00pm on Sunday 24th January 2021.

For participants
Registration opens on 16th October 2020.
Registration closes on 30th October 2020.

Please note
All information required in the registration forms should be collected before 16th October 2020.
Travel information is required as part of the registration process. Please have travel details confirmed by the time the registration window opens.
Participants should arrive in time to be at the school for 5:00pm on Thursday 21st January 2021, for BBQ/dinner/campfire.
Participants should not plan to leave the school until Monday morning, 25th January 2021.
Please arrange travel accordingly.

For artists
Artists need to arrive in time for an evening meal on 20th January 2021.
Artists should not plan to leave the school/venue until the morning of Monday 25th January 2021.
The Rep should arrive by evening on Tuesday 19th January 2021.
Please arrange travel accordingly.
Travel information is due by 13th November 2020.

Finances


Students
Registration fees
Member schools – GBP £176.
Host school – GBP £165 for the first 20, thereafter GBP £216.
This includes the cost of an ISTA t-shirt.

Surcharges
Excursion – GBP £20.

Accommodation costs
GBP £265 per student for four nights (shared accommodation).
This includes airport transfers, t-shirt, all meals/snacks except for during the Chiang Dao day out.

Total cost per student
Non-local member schools – GBP £461.
Host school – GBP £185 for the first 20, thereafter GBP £236.

Teachers/chaperones
Registration fees
Member schools, including host school – GBP £50.
Non-member schools – GBP £102.

Surcharges
Excursion – GBP £20.

GBP £265 per teacher for four nights.
This includes airport transfers, t-shirt, all meals/snacks except for during the Chiang Dao day out.

Total cost per teacher/chaperone
Non local member schools – GBP £335, including four nights accommodation and meals.
Non-local non-member schools – GBP £387, including four nights accommodation and meals.
Host school – GBP £70.

Please note
All registration fees and surcharges will be invoiced once the registration window has closed.
A non refundable, non-transferable deposit will be sent with the booking confirmation; this amount will be deducted from your final invoice.
The deposit will be as follows:
For bookings of 1 – 10 students GBP £500.
For bookings of 11 – 15 students GBP £750.
For bookings of 16 or more students GBP £1,000.

Travel and visas


All participants will fly into Chiang Mai.

For participants
Participants are responsible for booking their own travel and securing visas for the event.

For artists
Artists are responsible for booking their own flights and will work with the EC to provide all information in a timely manner.
Artist teams are launched 12 weeks prior to the event and all flights must be booked 10 weeks prior to the event.
Artists are also responsible for ensuring they have the correct visa.

Accommodation


All participants and ISTA artists will stay in dormitory accommodation on the Prem campus.

For teachers/chaperones
Single rooms will be booked for 4 nights from 21st January 2021.
Accommodation costs will be confirmed by the end of May 2020.

For students
Students will stay in shared rooms at Prem.
Shared rooms will be booked for 4 nights from 21st January 2021.
Where possible students will be placed in rooms with peers from the same school.
Hotel costs will be confirmed by the end of May 2020.

Schools will be invoiced at the time of registration for all accommodation costs.

For artists
Single rooms will be booked for artists for 5 nights from 20th January 2021.
An additional night will be booked for the Rep on 19th January 2021.
Artists will be responsible for any miscellaneous costs during their stay.

Meals


For participants
All meals will be provided by the host school for the duration of the festival.

If a social meal is to be part of the festival schedule for teachers/chaperones and ISTA artists this is costed at approximately GBP £30 per person.

For artists
All meals are provided by the host school.
