Arrivals and departures for visiting schools
All participants should arrive at Chiang Mai airport where a representative from the Traidhos learning community will meet you with a name board. All schools will be taken to the campus which is approximately 25 km north of Chiang Mai. The journey will take about 45 minutes.
Please note the festival finishes at 5:00pm on the sunday evening and the journey to the airport takes 45 minutes.
Schools will be taken back to the airport according to their departure times.
Arrivals and departures for ISTA artists
All artists should arrive at Chiang Mai airport where you will be met by a representative from the Traidhos learning community. Someone will be waiting with your name on a board. If a number of artists are arriving close together they will travel to campus in one car. The journey back to campus takes about 45 minutes and it is located 25km north of the city.
Daily transportation for visiting students
This festival takes place on site. No daily transport required.
Daily transportation for teachers and ISTA artists
This festival takes place on site. No daily transport required.
Transport for the cultural excursion
Private buses will be used to travel to the cultural excursion.

Social meal for visiting teachers/chaperones and ISTA artists
As all participants are staying on campus the social meal will be inclusive of all and take place on the Saturday night. The social meal for artists, teachers and students will take the form of a traditional, Thai Khantoke Dinner, served at the campus amphitheatre. The meal will consist of a range of Northern Thai foods, as well as vegetarian options. As part of the meal, there will be performances given by local artists of traditional Thai dance and music. The meal cost is included in the inclusive festival price. Due to Thai law, there will be no alcohol.

Please note:
We advise that you have your group confirmed and all information collected by 15th November 2019.
Travel information is required as part of the registration process. Please have travel details confirmed by the time the registration window opens.
You should arrive in time to be at the festival venue for evening on Thursday 23rd January 2019.
You should not plan to leave the festival venue until after 5:00pm on Sunday 26th January 2019.
Please arrange travel accordingly.
For artists
You need to arrive in time for an evening meal on Wednesday 22nd January 2020.
You should not plan to leave the festival venue until morning on the 27th January 2020.
The Rep should arrive by evening on Tuesday 21st January 2020.
Please arrange travel accordingly.

Finances
Students
Registration fees
Students from member schools – GBP £176.
Students from host school – GBP £165 for the first 25, thereafter GBP £216.
Surcharges
Excursion – GBP £20.
Accommodation costs
GBP £270 for four nights package. NB this includes airport transfers, t-shirt, all meals/snacks except for during the Chiang Dao day out.

Member schools – GBP £466.
Host school – GBP £165 for the first 25, thereafter GBP £216.
Teachers/chaperones
Registration fees
Host school – GBP £62, to include a t-shirt.
Member schools – GBP £0. NB the four night package is included in accommodation costs below.
Non-member schools – GBP £74.
Surcharges
Excursion – GBP £20.

Total cost per teacher/chaperone
Host school – GBP £82.
Member schools – GBP £335.
Non-member schools – GBP £409.
Please note:
1. A GBP £500 non refundable, non transferable deposit will be invoiced upon booking.
2. A GBP £500 cancellation fee will be invoiced to any school cancelling within 12 weeks from the start of the festival, in addition to the deposit withheld.
3. A GBP £150 late registration fee per school booking will be invoiced to schools if the registrations are received after the registration window has closed.
4. All invoices are payable within 28 days of receipt. If not, places cannot be guaranteed at the festival
Accommodation
ISTA will book accommodation for all participants and ISTA artists at Traidhos.
For schools
For teachers/chaperones
Single rooms will be be booked for 3/4 nights from 23rd January 2020.
For accommodation costs please see finance section above.
For students
Students will stay in shared rooms at Traidhos.
Shared rooms will be be booked for 3/4 nights from 23rd January 2020.
Where possible students will be placed in rooms with peers from the same school.
For accommodation costs please see finance section above.
Schools will be invoiced at the time of registration for all accommodation costs.
For artists
Single rooms will be booked for you for 4/5 nights from 22nd January 2020.
An additional night will be booked for the Rep who will arrive on the 21st January 2020.
You will be responsible for any miscellaneous costs during your stay.
