Please note:
We advise that you have your group confirmed and all information collected by 28th February 2020.
Travel information is required as part of the registration process. Please have travel details confirmed by the time the registration window opens.
You should arrive into Newquay International Airport or St Austell train station by 6:00pm on Thursday 30th April 2020.
You should not plan to leave the Eden Project until the morning of Monday 4th May 2020.
Please arrange travel accordingly.

For artists
You need to arrive in time for an evening meal on Wednesday 29th April 2020.
You should not plan to leave Cornwall until the morning of Monday 4th May 2020.
Please arrange travel accordingly.
Travel information is due by 21st February 2020.


Finances

Students

Registration fees
Students from member schools – GBP £216.
This includes the cost of an ISTA t-shirt.

Surcharges
Airport/train station transfers – GBP £21.

Accommodation costs
GBP £54.50 per student per night based on shared accommodation; GBP £218 for four nights.

Total cost per student
Local member schools – GBP £216.
Non-local member schools – GBP £455.

Teachers/chaperones

Registration fees
Member schools – GBP £50.
Non-member schools – GBP £102.

Surcharges
ISTA t-shirt (optional) – GBP £12.
Airport/train station transfers – GBP £21.

Accommodation costs
GBP £85 per teacher per night based on single room accommodation;

GBP £340 for four nights.

Total cost per teacher/chaperone

Local member schools – GBP £12.
Non-local member schools – GBP £373.
Local non-member schools – GBP £114.
Non-local non-member schools – GBP £475.

Please note:

  1. A GBP £500 non refundable, non transferable deposit will be invoiced upon booking.
  2. A GBP £500 cancellation fee will be invoiced to any school cancelling within 12 weeks from the start of the festival, in addition to the deposit withheld.
  3. A GBP £150 late registration fee per school booking will be invoiced to schools if the registrations are received after the registration window has closed.
  4. All invoices are payable within 28 days of receipt. If not, places cannot be guaranteed at the festival.

Travel & Visas

All participants will fly into London and take the train to St Austell in Cornwall or get a flight to Newquay International Airport.

For schools
You are responsible for booking your own travel and securing visas for the festival.

For artists
You are responsible for booking your own flights and will work with your EC to provide all information in a timely manner.
Artist teams are launched 12 weeks prior to the festival and all flights must be booked 10 weeks prior to the festival.
You are also responsible for ensuring you have the correct visa.


Accommodation

ISTA will book a hotel/hostel for all participants.

For schools

For teachers/chaperones
Single rooms will be be booked at the Eden Project’s YHA for 4 nights from 30th April 2020.
Accommodation costs will be confirmed by the end of May 2019.

For students
Students will stay in shared rooms at the YHA at the Eden Project.
Shared rooms will be be booked for 4 nights from 30th April 2020.
Where possible students will be placed in rooms with peers from the same school.
Hotel costs will be confirmed by the end of May 2019.
Schools will be invoiced at the time of registration for all accommodation costs.

For artists
Single rooms will be booked for you for 5 nights from 29th April 2020.
You will be responsible for any miscellaneous costs during your stay.
