Arrivals and departures for visiting schools
If you are arriving via Nurnberg Airport
Please collect your bags, and proceed through the arrivals gate into the public area. There will be someone there to meet you, with your school name on a board or iPad. There is only one place to exit the baggage area. You will travel by private bus to the school.
If you are arriving via Erlangen Hauptbahnhof
Please alight on the platform, head through the train station building (it is small), and exit through the main front doors. There will be someone waiting for you there with your school name on a paper or iPad. You will travel by private bus to the school.
A private bus will be arranged to take your from the school back to the airport or train station.
Arrivals and departures for ISTA artists
If you are arriving via Nurnberg Airport
Please collect your bag, and proceed through the arrivals gate into the public area. There will be someone there to meet you, with your name on a paper or ipad. There is only one place to exit the baggage area, so there will be no chance for confusion! You will travel by private vehicle or taxi to the hotel with your greeter.
If you are arriving via Erlangen Hauptbahnhof
Please alight on the platform, head through the train station building (it is small), and exit through the main front doors. There will be someone waiting for you there with your school name on a paper or ipad. You will travel by private vehicle or taxi to the hotel with your greeter.
You will be chauffeured back to the Airport or Train Station in a taxi by yourself, or with a volunteer driver in a private vehicle.
Daily transportation for visiting students
Students will travel to the FIS by a number of different methods, including car, walking, or public transportation, depending on the family.
Daily transportation for teachers and ISTA artists
The hotel is within walking distance to the school.
For the social meal, you will travel by bus or public transportation. All travel tickets will be purchased by the host ahead of time for the journey.
Transport for the cultural excursion
Private buses have been arranged to transport participants to and from the cultural excursion.

Social meal for visiting teachers/chaperones and ISTA artists
An evening meal will take place for visiting teachers and ISTA artists on Saturday 15th of February at the below location. You can order from the menu on the day and a meal including a drink will cost around 25 Euros.

Breakfast at Mr Blecks
All visiting teachers and artists will be given breakfast vouchers to use at the Mr Blecks the bakery next to their accommodation.

Please note:
We advise that you have your group confirmed and all information collected by 5th December 2019.
Travel information is required as part of the registration process. Please have travel details confirmed by the time the registration window opens.
You should arrive in time to be at the festival venue for the 4:00pm start on Thursday 13th February 2020.
You should not plan to leave the festival venue until after 12:30pm on Sunday 16th February 2020.
Please arrange travel accordingly.
For artists
You need to arrive in time for an evening meal on Wednesday 12th February 2020.
You should not plan to leave the festival venue until after 1:00pm on Sunday 16th February 2020.
The Rep should arrive by evening on 11th February 2020.
Please arrange travel accordingly.
Travel information is due by 5th December 2019.

Students
Registration fees
Students from member schools – GBP £216.
Students from host school – GBP £165 for the first 25, thereafter GBP £216.
This includes the cost of an ISTA t-shirt.
Surcharges
Airport transfers – GBP £10.
Excursion – GBP £10.
Total cost per student
Local member schools – GBP £226.
Non-local member schools – GBP £236.
Host school – GBP £175 for the first 25, thereafter GBP £226.
Teachers/chaperones
Registration fees
Member schools – GBP £50.
Non-member schools – GBP £102.
Surcharges
ISTA t-shirt (optional) – GBP £12.

Local member schools – GBP £72.
Non-local member schools – GBP £82.

Please note:
- A GBP £500 non refundable, non transferable deposit will be invoiced upon booking.
- A GBP £500 cancellation fee will be invoiced to any school cancelling within 12 weeks from the start of the festival, in addition to the deposit withheld.
- A GBP £150 late registration fee per school booking will be invoiced to schools if the registrations are received after the registration window has closed.
- All invoices are payable within 28 days of receipt. If not, places cannot be guaranteed at the festival.

All teachers/chaperones and ISTA artists will stay at the following serviced apartments:

For teachers/chaperones
Single rooms will be booked for 3 nights from 13th February 2020.
Rooms will cost Euro 125.00 per night including a breakfast voucher.
All rooms will need to be paid prior to arrival. Please contact your EC to arrange this payment.
For students
Students will stay with families from the host school community; there is no additional cost for this.
Housing for students will be provided for 3 nights from 13th February 2020.
For artists
Single rooms will be booked for you for 4 nights from 12th February 2020.
An additional night will be booked for the Rep who will arrive on the 11th February 2020.
You will be responsible for any miscellaneous costs during your stay.
