Artistic Information

Deep Dive Festivals

Deep Dives are 2-3 day opportunities for educators and HS aged learners to delve deeply into a particular, focussed area of performance. Led by experts and often in collaboration with specialist organisations these experiences will offer new insights, and a deeper understanding of key areas of interest. Pre-DP and DP learners will benefit from exposure to and experimentation with specific practices, practitioners, theories and approaches that will be useful and practical additions to their artist toolkits.

Global Challenge and Area of learning
Tuning in: Tuning into our environments, our world and beyond

Cultural Experience
On Day 2 there will be a variety of cultural injections, all intended to help the artists to immerse themselves in the environment, the art work and the location. Some of the exhibits/programs are not listed yet, but here are the places we will visit. All through the lens of ‘The Forbidden Door’:
Städel Museum
Liebieghaus
Schirn Kunsthalle
There will be further inspiration involving a short evening/night walk in the surrounding Taunus forest.
