Travel & Visas
Arrivals and departures for visiting schools
All participants arriving at Frankfurt Am Main airport will be met by a representative from FIS at arrivals and transported by bus to the school.
If travelling by train you will arrive at Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof (Main station) and be met by a school representative and taken to the school.
The journey from the airport to the school will take approximately 30 minutes.
Schools will be transported by bus from school to the Airport/Train station for their departures.
Arrivals and departures for ISTA artists
On arrival into Frankfurt airport or train station, Artists will be collected from the Airport/Train station by either Daniel Sarstedt or Jez Gregg (the hosts)
Artists will travel with visiting schools on the return journey to the airport or train station.
Daily transportation for visiting students
Students will travel with host families in private cars or on school buses.
Daily transportation for teachers and ISTA artists
The school is within walking distance to the hotel and all artists and visiting teachers will walk to school.
Transport for the cultural excursion
Bus transport has been arranged.

Social meal for visiting teachers/chaperones and ISTA artists
An evening meal will take place for visiting teachers and ISTA artists on Saturday 8th of February at the below location. An email will be sent regarding food choices.
The evening meal will cost 35 Euros which you will need to give to the rep in an envelope with a name on before the meal.

… the identifying features and performance conventions of a range of different theatre forms and how these are used to tell stories.
Inspiration
Saalburg Roman Fort to be used as an inspiration for stories.

Please note:
We advise that you have your group confirmed and all information collected by 5th December 2019.
Travel information is required as part of the registration process. Please have travel details confirmed by the time the registration window opens.
You should arrive in time to be at the festival venue for the 4:00pm start on Thursday 6th February 2020.
You should not plan to leave the festival venue until after 12:30pm on Sunday 9th February 2020.
Please arrange travel accordingly.
For artists
You need to arrive in time for an evening meal on Wednesday 5th February 2020.
You should not plan to leave the festival venue until after 1:00pm on Sunday 9th February 2020.
The Rep should arrive by evening on Tuesday 4th February 2020.
Please arrange travel accordingly.

Registration fees
Students from member schools – GBP £216.
Students from host school – GBP £165 for the first 25, thereafter GBP £216.
This includes the cost of an ISTA t-shirt.
Surcharges
Airport transfers – GBP £10.
Excursion – GBP £10.

Local member schools – GBP £226.
Non-local member schools – GBP £236.
Host school – GBP £175 for the first 25, thereafter GBP £226.

Please note:
- A GBP £500 non refundable, non transferable deposit will be invoiced upon booking.
- A GBP £500 cancellation fee will be invoiced to any school cancelling within 12 weeks from the start of the festival, in addition to the deposit withheld.
- A GBP £150 late registration fee per school booking will be invoiced to schools if the registrations are received after the registration window has closed.
- All invoices are payable within 28 days of receipt. If not, places cannot be guaranteed at the festival.

For schools
For teachers/chaperones
We have reserved a block of all single rooms at 130 euros each (includes breakfast) at the Parkhotel am Taunus. Double rooms are available upon request for 175 euros for a standard double room and 208 euros for a comfort double room. The booking reference is Frankfurt International School ISTA.
You must book your room by December 13th. After this date, we cannot guarantee there will be a room available or this price.
The Parkhotel am Taunus is located across the street from Frankfurt International School where the festival is taking place. It is a 2 minute walk to the school and is also conveniently located at the Waldlust Ubahn (train) stop.
For students
Students will stay with families from the host school community; there is no additional cost for this.
Housing for students will be provided for 3 nights from 6th February 2020.
For artists
Single rooms have been booked for you for 4 nights from 5th February 2020.
An additional night will be booked for the Rep who will arrive on 4th February 2020.
You will be responsible for any miscellaneous costs during your stay.
