The video below will help set the scene for you…

Title

Dreaming the land

Starting Point

What stories do we tell through the landscapes we create? What stories do the landscapes tell? How do we change space into place? This festival focuses on making dramatic responses to different landscapes and how to turn performance space into different locations. We enquire into how landscapes tell the stories of our dreams, visions and hopes for the future.

Out & About

All schools are responsible for booking their own travel and visas for the festival. Overseas schools will be collected by a representative of the host school and taken to the hotel on arrival. Transport will also be provided at the end of the festival. Please allow for 1 – 1.5 hours of travel time each way and book flights accordingly. Local schools will be responsible for organising and covering the cost of daily transport to the festival.

ISTA artists
ISTA artists are responsible for booking their own flights to the festival and this year will use our new travel agency for this. Artist teams will be activated 12 weeks prior to the festival and your EC will talk you through the new process for booking flights at the time of activation.

Artists are also responsible for ensuring they have the necessary visa to enter Hong Kong. This requires a detailed and lengthy process and your Event Coordinator will be in touch to get the ball rolling. We’ll need to ask you for various documents then ISTA will assist in the process of securing the visa, in good time.
