ISTA present...

London (Marymount) HS

November 30 - December 3, 2017

Booking Closed

We invite our young people to climb aboard Spaceship Earth to journey into time and space; creating original theatre from our discoveries and findings.

Time, place and space

Starting Point

Time is an artificial construct that helps us understand our place in space. All of us, when looking up at the night sky, see the moon and stars and if we’re lucky nebulae, meteors and planets. In these moments, space travel comes easily to mind and with it the promise of a future beyond the horizons of our own planet. But the celestial bodies we see came into being long before us and by showing us echoes of the Big Bang reveal a map of our origins in this universe. Spaceship Earth, then, is taking us on a journey through both time and space. This festival will draw on the MYP Global Context Orientation in Space and Time and using theatre practices peer through the window of “us” and explore, navigate and find the pathway to a more universal context.
