Workshop goals
The DP Theatre Category 1 workshop focusses on professional development and assistance for schools that have decided to apply for IB authorisation. They are equally relevant for educators who are new to a school with an existing IB programme and those interested in joining an IB school.
This workshop is recommended for teachers of Theatre from schools which have taken the decision to apply to offer the Diploma programme or new or recently appointed Theatre teachers from IB World Schools.

Master class
All participants will take part in one master class. Details to be confirmed by December 2019.

Theatre
All participants will attend one professional theatre performance. Details to be confirmed by December 2019.

Registration fees
ISTA members – GBP £810.
Non ISTA members – GBP £875.

Surcharges
ISTA t-shirt – GBP £12.00.

Total cost per participant
ISTA members – GBP £822.
Non ISTA members – GBP £887.

Please note
Fees include lunches and tea/coffee breaks daily; master class and one theatre ticket.
Any bookings or amendments taken in the six weeks prior to the workshop will incur an additional GBP £50 late booking/amendment surcharge, subject to availability.
Late registrants will not be able to order a t-shirt; and we may not be able to furnish you with a theatre ticket. The latter will be managed on a case by case basis.

Travel and visas


For participants
Participants are advised to arrive into Manchester by evening on Tuesday 23rd June 2020 and should not plan to leave the Salford venue until after the close of the last session at 3:00pm on Friday 26th June 2020. Late arrivals and early departures should be avoided, but if incurred will mean ISTA can only issue a certificate of partial attendance.

Please ensure you have the correct visa to enter The United Kingdom.

For artists
All artists should plan to fly into Manchester by evening on Tuesday 23rd June 2020 and should not plan to leave the venue until 30 minutes after the close of the final session (for the artist Standing ovation session).

Accommodation


For participants
All participants will be asked to book their own hotel accommodation. We advise you choose accommodation close to the venue.

For artists
ISTA will book single room accommodation for artists for the nights of 23rd, 24th and 25th June 2020.

Meals


For participants
Lunches are provided daily along with tea/coffee breaks; breakfast and evening meals are not included.

For artists
All meals for the duration of the workshop are covered by ISTA.
