Master classes

Students will take part in 2 master classes, each lasting 90 minutes.
One on puppetry with Louise Clarke. The other on directing with Will Kerley.

Professional development and learning (PD&L)

We invite all teachers/chaperones to take part in two PD&L workshops at no additional cost. One on puppetry with Louise Clarke. The other on directing with Will Kerley.

Theatre

All participants will attend two professional theatre performances.

Macbeth at the Royal Exchange Theatre:

Shakespeare’s darkest tragedy is also his most chilling thriller – an action-packed, edge-of-the-seat psychological fable that crackles with life – and the constant threat of death. Following their collaboration on GROUNDED, Lucy Ellinson takes the title role in director Christopher Haydon’s highly-charged production, which explores what happens, when in a split-second you decide to act upon your deepest, darkest ambition.

And & Juliet at The Manchester Opera House:

& Juliet is the irreverent and fun-loving new West End musical that asks: what if Juliet’s famous ending was really just her beginning? What if she decided to choose her own fate? This is Juliet’s story now. So don’t tell her how it ends…

Soaring with pop anthems including …Baby One More Time, Everybody (Backstreet’s Back), Love Me Like You Do and Can’t Feel My Face, & Juliet is a riotous blast of fun and glorious music that proves when it comes to love, there’s always life after Romeo…
