ISTA present...

Singapore 2017 IB workshop

September 8 - September 10, 2017

Booking Closed

IB Teacher Workshop in Singapore for DP Theatre Category 1 and Category 2.

Masterclasses

All participants will take part in one 90-minute master class.
This will be led by Shane Jones on Viewpoints.

Theatre

All participants will attend one professional theatre performance. In this case we have been extremly fortunate to be able to fly in the production: My name is Rachel Corrie. A true story. An internationally acclaimed play, based on the diaries and emails of Rachel Corrie. Edited by Katherine Viner and Alan Rickman. Originally presented by Bella Shanley and La Boîte Theatre, Australia. Directed by Shane Anthony with Julia Billington. Placing herself between an Israeli Forces bulldozer and a Palestinian home marked for demolition…Rachel Corrie had faith in humanity. She firmly believed that human compassion would overcome the anguish and complexity of the Israeli/Palestinian conflict in Gaza. She lived and died for this belief. The events causing her death are disputed. The Israeli Defence Force claims it was an accident; others claim she was deliberately run over by the bulldozer. She was just 23 years old.
