Master classes
All teachers will take part in one 90 minute master class. I Wayan Dibia will lead participants on a master class in Balinese Topeng mask theatre traditions.
Theatre
All teachers will attend two professional theatre productions.
In the first performance I Wayan Dibia will share his extensive knowledge and professional experience in Balinese theatre traditions.

The second performance will include both performances and talkbacks exploring devised works by a theatre group using Lee Strasberg method acting elements.

Important information
Please note this IB workshop will take place at the same time as an ISTA student TaPS event. This makes it easier for some teachers to sign up for training due to reduced costs and time away from school.
Registration is now closed.
Registration closed on Thursday 9th August 2018 and late registrations will now be subject to a late booking fee. Please contact the event coordinator for information on availability.
Travel forms from ISTA artists are due on Thursday 9th August 2018.
A full information pack will be sent to all participants three weeks prior to the workshop.
Travel
Participants are advised to arrive into Singapore by evening on Wednesday 19th September 2018 and should not plan to leave the workshop venue until the close of the final session at 3:00pm on Saturday 22nd September 2018.
Please arrange travel accordingly.
We will only be able to issue a certificate of partial attendance should teachers arrive late or leave early.
All overseas participants should fly into Singapore.
Participants will be asked to make their own way from the airport to the hotel on arrival; and for departures also, unless travelling with a student group.
Singapore participants will travel daily.

ISTA will book overseas teachers and ISTA artists into a centrally reserved hotel for the nights of the 19th, 20th and 21st September 2018 inclusive.
Finances
Registration fees
Teachers from member schools – GBP £595.
Teachers from non-member schools – GBP £660.
Fees include lunches and tea/coffee breaks daily; master class and two theatre tickets.
Surcharges
ISTA t-shirt – GBP £12.
Airport transfers – GBP £10, if attending with students.
Non local participants daily travel – GBP £20 (includes daily hotel/school transfers).
Accommodation costs
GBP £125 per teacher per night based on single room accommodation, so GBP £375 for three nights.
Total cost per teacher
Local teachers (members) – GBP £607, non-members GBP £672.
Non local teachers (members) – GBP £637, non-members GBP £702, plus surcharges for accommodation.
All registration fees, surcharges and accommodation costs (if applicable) will be invoiced once the registration form has been submitted.
Any bookings taken in the six weeks prior to the workshop will incur an additional GBP £50 late booking surcharge, subject to availability.
Meals
Lunch will be provided for all participants on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
Evening meals will be provided on Thursday and Friday.
Breakfasts will be taken at the hotel (overseas participants) and at home (local participants).
