Stratford student TaPS 2017

Join us for Stratford TaPS, a unique 3-day workshop specifically for students of DP Theatre.
Programme
Join us for Stratford TaPS, a unique 3-day workshop specifically for students of DP Theatre. Workshops will take place in a variety of venues in and around the town of Stratford-upon-Avon.
Masterclasses
Students will take part in two 90 minute master classes.
One MC will be delivered by Chris Hawes on Commedia.
The other master class will be delivered by Tracy Irish on the techniques of renowned RSC vocal coach Cicely Berry.
Teachers are invited to take part in two 90 minute PD sessions with the MC leaders at no extra cost.
Theatre
All participants will attend two professional theatre performances:

Important information
Booking is now open.
The registration window will open on Thursday 24th August 2017.
The registration window will close on Thursday 7th September 2017.
Travel forms from artists due by Thursday 7th September 2017.
A full information pack will be sent to all participants three weeks prior to the workshop.

Students
Registration fee
Students from member schools – £290.00
Students from non-member schools – £325.00
Students from Global Patron schools – £261.00
Registration fees include all workshops, master classes and 2 x theatre performances.
Surcharges
ISTA t-shirt – £12.00.
Total cost per student
£302.00 (member schools); £337.00 (non-member schools); £273.00 (Global Patron schools).
Teachers

£80.00 (cost for 2 x theatre tickets).
Surcharges

£92.00
All registration fees and surcharges will be invoiced once the registration window has closed.
A £500 deposit will be sent with the booking confirmation; this amount will be taken off your final invoice.
Travel & visas
Participants are advised to arrive into Stratford by evening on Wednesday 4th October 2017 and should not plan to leave Stratford until after the last session finishes at 3:00pm on Saturday.
Please arrange travel accordingly.
All participants should fly into London or Birmingham.
Bus or train can then be used to reach Stratford.
Please note it is the responsibility of teachers and ISTA artists to ensure they have arranged their own visas, as required.
Accommodation
We recommend that school groups stay at one of the many B&Bs in Stratford.
We advise an early booking to ensure all of your group can stay in the same B&B.
ISTA will be organising accommodation for the ISTA artists for the 4th, 5th and 6th October 2017.
Meals
No meals are provided as part of this TaPS.
