Arrivals and departures for visiting schools
All schools will arrive into Stuttgart Flughafen airport. All visiting schools will be met by a school representative and taken to the school by private bus or accompanied on public transport to the school. Any travel tickets needed will be provided by the host school prior to using public transport. Schools will be informed of travel before their arrival. At the school, all visiting students will be met by student ambassadors and taken to the registration area.

Visiting schools will be taken back to the airport in accordance to their departure times.

For artists
Ista artists will be met at the airport by a school representative and will be taken to the hotel. A taxi may be arranged to collect some artists from the airport. Information will be sent to artists before their arrival.

Artists will be taken back to the airport by bus or private car.

Daily transport for visiting students
Students will travel to school daily with their hosts in private cars, walking or by school bus.

Daily transport for visiting teacher and ISTA artists
Artists and visiting teachers will travel into school daily using public transport. The ISTA rep and host will take you through the journey. The public bus stop is nearby the hotel and the bus journey to the school is 7 minutes. Travel tickets will be issued to you on arrival and the travel card will be for the duration of the festival.

Transport for the cultural excursion
School buses will be used to travel to and from the cultural excursion. The journey time one way is 30 minutes.

Travel information is required as part of the registration process. Please have travel details confirmed by the time the registration window opens.
You should arrive in time to be at the festival venue for 4:00pm on Thursday 5th December 2019.
You should not plan to leave the festival venue until after 12:30pm on Sunday 8th December 2019.

For artists
You need to arrive in time for an evening meal on Wednesday 4th December 2019.

The Rep should arrive by evening on Tuesday 3rd December 2019.

Registration fees
Students from member schools – GBP £216.
Students from host school – GBP £165 for the first 25, thereafter GBP £216.
This includes the cost of an ISTA t-shirt.

Surcharges
Airport transfers – GBP £10.

Local member schools – GBP £226.
Non-local member schools – GBP £236.
Host school – GBP £175 for the first 25, thereafter GBP £226.

Teachers/chaperones

Please note:

1. A GBP £500 non refundable, non transferable deposit will be invoiced upon booking.
2. A GBP £500 cancellation fee will be invoiced to any school cancelling within 12 weeks from the start of the festival, in addition to the deposit withheld.
3. A GBP £150 late registration fee per school booking will be invoiced to schools if the registrations are received after the registration window has closed.
4. All invoices are payable within 28 days of receipt. If not, places cannot be guaranteed at the festival.

For schools

For teachers/chaperones
Single rooms have been booked for 3 nights from 5th December 2019.
A single hotel room will cost approximately 70 Euro’s per person per night for an adult; including breakfast.
Teachers/chaperones will be responsible for paying for rooms on arrival. We can make provision for schools to pay hotel bills ahead of time.

For students
Students will stay with families from the host school community; there is no additional cost for this.
Housing for students will be provided for 3 nights from 5th December 2019.

For artists
Single rooms will be booked for you for 4 nights from 4th December 2019.
An additional night will be booked for the Rep who will arrive on the 3rd December 2019.
You will be responsible for any miscellaneous costs during your stay.
