Important Information
The festival is a combined MS and HS event.
The festival starts at 8:30am on Thursday 28th February 2019 and finishes at 4:30pm on Sunday 3rd March 2019.
Information for visiting schools
Registration opens 3rd January 2019.
Registration closes 17th January 2019.
Please note:
We advise that you have your group confirmed and all information collected prior to 3rd January 2019.
Travel information is required as part of the registration process. Please have travel details confirmed by the time the registration window closes.
All schools will need to be at the Harbour Front Centre by 8:30am on Thursday 28th February 2019 and will arrive back into Singapore (from Telunas) by 4:30pm on Sunday 3rd March 2019. Please plan international travel accordingly.
ISTA artists
ISTA artists will need to arrive on Tuesday 26th February in time for an evening meal and may plan on departures from evening time on Sunday 3rd March 2019. Please plan international travel accordingly.
Artist travel information is required by the 17th January 2019.

Students
Registration/Telunas fees
GBP £429 per student.
This includes a t-shirt, accommodation (shared rooms), meals and other treats at Telunas Beach Resort for three nights, the return ferry transfer from Singapore Harbour to Batam, and the longboat transfer from Batam to the Telunas resort.
Surcharges for overseas visiting schools
GBP £20 transportation fees (includes round trip airport transport and one-way hotel to ferry terminal transport).
GBP £43 per person for shared room YMCA One Orchard the night before departure to Indonesia. NB if the student needs to have a single room the cost will be £85 GBP.
Total per student
GBP £429 Singapore local schools.
GBP £492 overseas visiting schools.
Teachers/chaperones
GBP £97 visiting non-member registration fee. NB ISTA members no charge.GBP £250 per teacher/chaperone.

Please note:
1. A GBP £500 non-refundable, non-transferrable deposit will be invoiced upon booking.
2. A GBP £500 cancellation fee will be invoiced to any school cancelling within 12 weeks from the start of the festival, in addition to the deposit withheld.
3. A GBP £150 late registration fee per school booking will be invoiced to schools if the registrations are received after the registration window has closed.
4. All invoices are payable within 28 days of receipt. If not, places cannot be guaranteed at the festival.
Travel & Visas
All overseas participants will fly into Changi airport (SIN) in Singapore. The journey from the airport to the hotel will take approximately 30 minutes.
Visiting schools
All schools are responsible for booking their own travel and visas to enter Singapore. All schools are responsible for also booking their own visas to enter Indonesia as well.
Schools will use private buses provided to get to the hotel from the airport.
ISTA artists
ISTA artists are responsible for booking their own flights to the festival and will use our travel agency for this. Artist teams will be activated 12 weeks prior to the festival and your EC will talk you through the process for booking flights at the time of activation.
Artists are also responsible for ensuring they have the necessary visa to enter both Singapore and Indonesia.

The journey to the resort requires international travel between Singapore and Indonesia via ferry organised by ISTA as part of the event.

The hotel has free WiFi.
The room rate is GBP £85 per person per night for a single occupancy room, including breakfast.
The room rate is GBP £43 per person per night for a shared room, including breakfast.
The journey from the hotel to the ferry terminal is approximately 25 minutes.
All participants staying at the YMCA One Orchard the night prior will be transported by private bus from the airport to the hotel and also to the ferry terminal on the morning of the event.
Visiting schools
Teachers/chaperones
All teachers/chaperones will stay in shared rooms at Telunas Beach Resort for the nights of 28th February, 1st and 2nd March 2019.
Overseas visiting teachers/chaperones will be booked into the YMCA One Orchard for the night of 27th February 2019.
Visiting schools will be invoiced for all accommodation costs at the time of registration.
Students
Students will stay in shared rooms at both the Telunas Beach Resort in Indonesia and YMCA One Orchard in Singapore. Where possible, students will be paired with peers from the same school.
Accommodation for overseas visiting students will be provided at YMCA One Orchard in Singapore for one night on the 27th February 2019.
Accommodation for all students will be booked at Telunas Beach Resort, Indonesia for the nights of 28th February, 1st and 2nd March 2019.
ISTA artists
ISTA will book and pay for single room accommodation in Singapore for the nights of 22nd and 23rd February 2019 prior to the commencement of the HS event. ISTA will also book and pay for shared accommodation in Indonesia for both the MS and HS events for the nights of 24th, 25th, 26th, 27th, 28th February and 1st and 2nd March 2019.
The Rep and AD will travel back to Singapore in between events to escort school groups. Accommodation in Singapore in between events will be provided for the night of 27th February 2019.
Meals
Visiting schools
Breakfast – provided for overseas participants at the hotel in Singapore and for all participants the resort in Indonesia.
Lunch – provided by Telunas Beach Resort on 28th February, 1st and 2nd, March 2019. A packed lunch will be provided before departure on 3rd March 2019.
Dinner – provided by Telunas Beach Resort on 28th February, 1st and 2nd, March 2019.

All meals will be provided at this festival.
