Please note
All information required in the registration forms should be collected before 28th January 2021.
Travel information is required as part of the registration process. Please have travel details confirmed by the time the registration window opens.
Participants should arrive in time to be at the school for the 4:30pm start on Thursday 6th May 2021. Participants should not plan to leave the school until after 12:30pm on Sunday 9th May 2021. Please arrange travel accordingly.

Local schools will attend from 4:30pm on Thursday 6th May 2021.

For artists
Artists need to arrive in time for an evening meal on Wednesday 5th May 2021.
Artists should not plan to leave the school until after 1:00pm on Sunday 9th May 2021.
The Rep should arrive by evening on Tuesday 4th May 2021.
Please arrange travel accordingly.
Travel information is due by 25th February 2021.

Finances


Students
Registration fees
Member schools – GBP £216.
Host school – GBP £165 for the first 20, thereafter GBP £216.
This includes the cost of an ISTA t-shirt.

Surcharges
Airport transfers – GBP £10.
Excursion – GBP £10.

Accommodation costs
GBP £TBC per student per night based on shared accommodation; GBP £TBC for three nights.

Total cost per student
Local member schools – GBP £226.
Non-local member schools – GBP £236 plus accommodation.
Host school – GBP £175 for the first 20, thereafter GBP £226.

Teachers/chaperones
Registration fees
Member schools – GBP £50.
Non-member schools – GBP £102.

Surcharges
ISTA t-shirt (optional) – GBP £12.
Airport transfers – GBP £10.
Excursion – GBP £10.

Accommodation costs
GBP £TBC per teacher per night based on single room accommodation; GBP £TBC for three nights.

Total cost per teacher/chaperone
Local member schools – GBP £72.
Non-local member schools – GBP £82 plus accommodation.
Local non-member schools – GBP £124.
Non-local non-member schools – GBP £134 plus accommodation.
Host school – GBP £72.

Please note
All registration fees and surcharges will be invoiced once the registration window has closed.
A non refundable, non-transferable deposit will be sent with the booking confirmation; this amount will be deducted from your final invoice.
The deposit will be as follows:
For bookings of 1 – 10 students GBP £500.
For bookings of 11 – 15 students GBP £750.
For bookings of 16 or more students GBP £1,000.

Travel and visas


All participants will fly into Zurich.

For participants
Participants are responsible for booking their own travel and securing visas for the event.

For artists
Artists are responsible for booking their own flights and will work with the EC to provide all information in a timely manner.
Artist teams are launched 12 weeks prior to the event and all flights must be booked 10 weeks prior to the event.
Artists are also responsible for ensuring they have the correct visa.

Accommodation


ISTA will book a hotel for all overseas participants and ISTA artists close to the school.

For teachers/chaperones
Single rooms will be booked for 3 nights from 6th May 2021. We work on a costing of GBP £90 per person per night for adults; including breakfast.
Hotel costs will be confirmed by the end of May 2020.

For students
Students will stay in shared rooms at the designated hotel.
Shared rooms will be booked for 3 nights from 6th May 2021. Where possible students will be placed in rooms with peers from the same school.
Hotel costs will be confirmed by the end of May 2020.

Schools will be invoiced at the time of registration for all accommodation costs.

For local participants
No accommodation will be booked for local schools.
Participants are responsible for organising their own daily travel.
Breakfasts will not be provided.

For artists
Single rooms will be booked for artists for 4 nights from Wednesday 5th May 2021.
An additional night will be booked for the Rep on Tuesday 4th May 2021.
Artists will be responsible for any miscellaneous costs during their stay.

Meals


For participants
Breakfast will be provided at the hotel (or at home for local participants).
Lunches will be provided daily. Lunch on Sunday is not provided.
Evening meals will be provided at the host school.

If a social meal is to be part of the festival for teachers/chaperones and ISTA artists this is costed at approximately GBP £30 per person.

For artists
All meals are provided by the host school.
