Newly commissioned instructional packs consisting of 8-10 practical activities that explore a range of theatrical practices, theorists and world theatre traditions in connection to related teacher PD&L workshops. Released 6 times per year to members only in the member section of the ISTA website.

Bi-annual sharing of practices and resources facilitated by ISTA. To gain access members will be asked to submit a tried and tested resource or activity (video or PDF file) that will be made available to all contributing members.

Private, one on one email communication with an experienced ISTA educator to provide advice or guidance in areas of pedagogy, curriculum, programme development etc. Available only through the member section of the ISTA website.

Event Watch
Attend a face to face student event in your city/region to observe an event in action, connect with member teachers/youth leaders and have a meeting with an ISTA Representative to learn about attending with students or hosting an event. Limited to two Event Watch passes every 2 years per organisation and one Event Watch pass every 2 years per individual member. Some additional conditions apply. Contact Engagement Manager for more details.
Artist in Residency (AiR), Mentorship and Consultancy ServiceAccess to a global pool of inspiring artist-educators who can be commissioned to support and guide your teaching, professional development and wider school initiatives. AiRs, consultancies and mentorships are bespoke services created in consultation with an Event Manager and can be scheduled virtually or face to face at any time of year. Member discounts apply to booked services. Minimum time frame is half-day.

Access to ISTA member organisations and individuals around the globe or next door. In addition to a listing of all member organisations and individuals, the directory will allow members to connect with members in their region and/or members around the globe teaching the same age range/curriculum. Members will be asked for permission to share contact emails for main ISTA contact if they wish to be contacted directly.

Dedicated section of our membership area where members are invited to showcase and publicise their organisation to our global community and beyond. Our plan is to provide a template for members to upload information showcasing their organisation, community and/or arts educators as well as activities, initiatives and samples of student work. Members will control the content of the profile and be asked to update the content annually.

A dedicated area where members can post announcements, requests, invitations etc. for other members. Once the website is up and running, we hope to turn this into a members only discussion forum where members can join specific interest groups based on region, division and or topic.

2 times per year members will be invited to meet with ISTA’s Executive Director via webinar to discuss ISTA’s future and provide input and ideas that will form future strategic initiatives.

Regional Members Virtual Meet-Up
2 times per year in each region, members will be invited to drop in for a chat with ISTA’s Engagement Manager and network with other members in their region. This will be an opportunity to reach out to others nearby to share resources and ideas, propose partner projects, or stop by to see what is happening in ISTA schools around the world.
