The Music & Drama Awards ceremony was on Wednesday 23rd March 2022 in London, UK.

We were absolutely over the moon to be a finalist for these prestigious awards in the category of Outstanding Drama Initiative for our Digital Global Production of 2020 Vision. Members of the ISTA team – Sophie, Helen, Tom and Dinos – put their glad rags on and attended the celebration. For a team who works virtually and rarely get to meet each other in person – this was a fabulous experience for them all.

Though we didn’t win – we definitely felt like winners to be amongst the many wonderful music and drama finalists recognised at the event.

We want to give a big shout out to the winner of the category – Company Three and Nick Hern Books.

The judges were impressed by this project’s reach and its potential for longevity. They felt that it is a commendable blueprint for other organisations internationally, with the capacity to spread widely. They commented that this is a platform for student voice which will continue to evolve and will always be important, current, and relevant.

The Music and Drama Awards celebrate the extraordinary contribution made by individuals, companies, charities, schools and other organisations to the lives of others through the medium of these two key performing arts.
