ISTA was delighted to make new connections in Canada in October at the Council of Ontario Drama and Dance Educators (CODE) conference.

The conference was filled with excited arts educators who were thrilled to be back face to face with colleagues and to learn from professionals and educators in the field. ISTA was one of the main sponsors of the event and our Executive Director, Dinos Aristidou provided a workshop on The ISTA ‘Hear Us Out’ Technique – Verbatim as Inclusive Theatre Practice.

The workshop and the ISTA exhibit were well received by everyone keen to learn about who we are and what we do. ISTA was new to many educators there but we are sure we left a lasting impression!

We look forward to continuing to develop the connections we made at the event and left inspired by the work of the CODE conference organisers and everyone who attended.
