Theatre in the classroom for non-theatre teachers

7 July 2021

We all know that theatre and the arts have wide reaching benefits for young people, but how can we implement theatre and drama in a more academic setting? For a while now we’ve wanted to involve non-theatre teachers more and based on feedback over the last few months there is a real opportunity to bring theatre to the masses and make schools more embracing of it in every setting.

Our open discussion sessions are free and open to everyone to attend on Facebook Live. It’s where people can meet, reconnect to discuss important topics in education and ISTA. Stay tuned for more discussions coming in the new season!

This session about Theatre in the classroom for non-theatre teachers was facilitated by ISTA’s Patron Jonothan Neelands.
