Professional Development & Learning
ISTA offers a range of professional development and learning opportunities for teachers. 1- and 3-Day Studios cover a range of training, from world theatre traditions to curriculum design and development.
Recent studios have included musical theatre, STEAM, dance for drama teachers and drama for non-specialists. ISTA’s Twilight workshops happen after school hours and provide a short and affordable burst of PD&L for busy teachers.
Fest Track is our shadowing programme, where a teacher follows a Student Ensemble Leader at a festival, observing the ensemble process at close quarters.
In-school and school-wide consultancies let you bring in a bespoke team of experts and artists to work with various communities within your school environment. You can find our full calendar of events here, and if you don’t see what you want, just ask firstname.lastname@example.org.
” ISTA fans the flames and is a lifeline for us on the ground.“
